Complete Boss Guide

Complete boss list for Mega Man Star Force 1, 2, and 3 — HP, weaknesses, attack patterns, and SP card drop rates.

Understanding Boss Versions

Every boss appears as Normal (story), EX (post-game ghosts), and SP (rare spawns, ~6.25%, best card drops). Element matchups matter: Fire > Wood > Aqua > Fire; Elec hits Aqua hard.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Normal, EX, and SP boss versions? +
Normal is the standard version encountered during the story. EX versions appear as ghost encounters after completing the main story and have boosted stats. SP versions spawn in the same ghost locations as EX at a very low rate (approx. 6.25%) but drop the most powerful boss Battle Cards.
How do I raise my BattleCard level to encounter SP bosses more easily? +
Your battle performance rank (Level 1–S) determines what cards you can collect. Higher rank play — taking less damage and using fewer cards — increases the chance of top-tier drops. Having the boss's corresponding card at a high level also reportedly increases SP spawn chance.
